        I still have not approached Audi about my transmission, but when I do 
        (this week), I will approach it from a safety perspective, and see how  
        they react...

        We probably will not get anywhere with Audi anyways, so we should have
        a backup plan for as many people as possible to bombard NHTSA with 
        complaints on this issue.

Let's do it ! Does anybody have any ideas ?? I'm willing to take this
up as a safety issue with Audi and have them fix it. Maybe we have 
enough members with automatics on this list itself to make Audi listen.

They have just signed with a new ad agency to add some polish to their
image. Maybe, they will not want to sour public relations and fix the
transmissions for poeple who ask.
