re: '85 ur-Q engine mounts?

glen,

The motor mounts I now have installed in my 83 ur-q are the Heavy Duty 5000
Turbo with A/C motor mounts. I forget, but maybe there is even a diesel
thrown in the description also. When I had all my mounts changed a few years
ago, these were the most heavy duty ones available. After checking with
another ur-q owner, these are what he is currently installing in his car.
His description/part numbers of the mount are the same as mine. Make a note
to check the fiche on these. When you install these mounts you need the
spacer , rubber cup and metal head shield for the turbo side mount.
Otherwise it won't last. The spacers are critical to get the proper engine
ride height.

The mounts I have are marked as I have previously described. They have a
large aluminum cup type base with 2 bolt hole ears, the hydraulic rubber
center section rises up like a "mountain", as you describe. Mine are holding
up fine after 2 years 15k miles and mulitiple track events.
