SS/Teflon brake lines are not DOT approved and some shops won't install 'em
because of liability concerns ... also, the ss braid makes a very nice file
and if they aren't routed carefully, it will cut through all sorts of stuff
in short order. I've been using them on my street cars for the last decade
and have never had any problems with them but then it seldom gets below 32F
out here... :^Q (that's my tongue hanging out!)
