Re: Premium fuel

I didn't notice much difference between 87 and 93 on my ex-90 90Q20V, manual
recommends 87-89. Big difference between the two onmy V6 90Q; audi changed
recommendation to: 91 Octane (R+M/2).

And, (since I'm too lazy to write separate message:

1) Boy, Am I pissed off about OBDC!!! Just think what it'll do to high-scale
used car
market though!! (e.g. late model carreras).

2) Does anybody else out there have a V6? I think the engine sucks. Would
appreciate any info on potential improvements. I remain doubtful since Audi
seems
committed to developing flagship models based on the 5 cylinder.
Sadly, unless they come back with Volvo-like motor performance (or if VW
really kicks market ass), I don't think Audi has a chance in U.S. past 1998.
Then after going from lancia, to Alfa, to audi- I'll be stuck with a BMW as
the only non-swedish eurocar worth its price.
