Heed his advice: I burned out both headlight sockets and a portion of the
wiring harness in less than 6 mos. using a pair of these bulbs. They ARE
an improvement over the stock bulbs but the lenses still suck ... you get
more light but it's poorly aimed. If euro-lights were cheaper, I'd get a
set in a minute (am I the only one who remembers when $80 would buy you a
complete set of Hella, Marchal or Cibie headlights?) but they're not so I
have to make do with the NA-spec POS...

BTW, with a bit of work, those teeny-weeny little driving lights found on
late-model GM cars CAN be made to fit in turn-signal cut-outs in the 5000
bumper cover ... they aren't cheap (I paid a $125/pair for mine) but they
look like they were installed there by the factory. The turn-signals now
reside in the parking lights (where they can be seen from the side of the
car as well as the front, unlike the OEM arrangement), thanks to a bit of
rewiring and a second set of sockets/bulbs I installed there.
