Subject: Audi Steering Rack

I am afraid that I have a bad leak in my steering rack (1986 5000S).   told
me a year ago that there was a slow leak.  This week I have added two pints
of fluid.  I could use some help in figuring out what to do.  I have seen
some rebuilt racks advertised.  Are they any good?  Think my dealer will
install it?  Since this is a common problem in this genre, is there any
existing or secret warranty available from Audi?
