I drive an Audi with a stick, and I must say that the stock clutch is
a real pain in traffic.  I can't imagine that euro-Audi's get the same
clutch unit -- after all, they do have their share of traffic, too.

The stock clutch is very quick to overheat and slip in traffic
conditions; while it is not hard to activate (fairly light action),
it is simply not built to take tough conditions.  In contrast, the
P-car clutch is fine in endless traffic, though it is tiresome...
