Hi,

Just test drove the new A4 at my local dealerships, they got 6 car already,
quattro/FWD, 5 speed manual/auto.

Tried the quattro (manual 5sp only), a little sluggish on the low end (maybe
the engine is still tight, only 6 ml on the odo) but the tranny is very
slick, easy and short throw) Suspension is very nice.  Overall the car is
amazingly quite even over very bad road.  Night and day difference on the
ride compared to the old 90.  Steering nicely weighted compared to my S4.
 and the optional sport steering wheel for $150, everybody should get that
thing it is very nice.  

Tried the 5 sp auto FWD, did not feel slower compared to the manual.  Very
nice also depend which one you like, the manual of auto.  Quattro is only
available with manual.

base price 26.5k, quattro add 1.5k, leather add 1.3k, sunroof add $900, Sport
steering $150, Bose stereo upgrade $700
I would still get this car compared to a BMW325, no contest!
