saw a RS2 in seattle.... NOT!

i saw the wierdest thing.  a regular 90CSQ dressed up to look like an
RS2..  it had the same blue paint, white instruments, blue leather seats..
had RS2 badges (now that's going too far) even had the RS2's headlights. 
no this was not a wagon, which makes the ploy somewhat hokey.  it had 7.5
X 16 wheels with 215 section P700s. 

under the hood, it was bog standard 12V audi V6.  the brakes and
suspension were also standard 90CSQ fare, not the porsche competition
stuff. 

the owner apparently is one of the designers who works in VW's california
studio and is a native of seattle, so it wasn't some punk wannabe.. 
still, dressing a 90Q up as a RS2 is like sticking "M" badges onto a BMW
318i... not something that i would care to do.  

as an aside there used to be this beast called the 316i and it only had
two headlights, so some of the wannabes had the entire grille replaced
with one with 4 headlights.. 

when are the honda wannabes going to stick "VTEC" badges onto their
hohummers?
