thanks for the follow up.
Yes I'm looking for the 1985 5000s manual. The local shops here in CT have 
some but not the one I need they say their out of print.
The sensors, I believe, were correctly identified by Eric T. as pressure 
sensors for the auto check system. (Yes Eric oil oozed out of the terminal 
!) I replaced it for $3 all was well for days!
Now all I have is a disabled tranny/diff ?? tbd by Peoples Auto in Somers 
CT.
