I once put a deisel 5  speed in a AT 5000T - found that when I got the
5 speed Turbo final drive - kept the first-fourth gears but changed 5th
i had plenty of power AND top end.

had to write to germany to get the 'gear' (in this case gear means gear)
I'll try to dig up the info. (was an 84 5000)
I am going fishing tomorrow - mid next week (Florida Keys)
assuming I don't get killed by the TS I get it for you by Wed.
