The Audi A4

I am looking at buying a '96 A4.  I realize this is the redesigned Audi 
90.  But what I am looking for is:
    Is there is any data on the quality and design of the new A4?
    Our the European customers satisfied with the new design (the car has 
been available in Europe for several months)?
    How can I get a good deal on a new A4?

Any info?  Let me know.  I'd appreciate hearing from you.
