I had done the same in June. AVIS told me I had a 50% chance of having an
A4, and 50% of having an Opel Omega (the other car in that class.) Once
arrived to Frankfurt, I found out they had an Opel Omega available, along
with a few other cars. They did not have any A4 at that time. I took the
Omega, which was not so bad, but a shame for an Audi enthusiast!

Also, be careful on the rates: did you get a quote for the whole period, or
a weekly quote. Also check on which quote include taxes (which are about 15%.)
