Hangin' the 8 or the 5 out in front of the front axle is not
"conceptually flawed", it's a comprimise. While turn-in
will not be optimum, straight-line high-speed stability
is greatly enhanced. Might also make the automobile
better crashworthiness-wise. V8s are more highway
cruisers than twisty-untwisters anyhows.....
