Audi reimburses me for repairs
Back in June, I broke the timing belt on my `91 V8 Quattro with 85,000 miles.
Their published recommended service interval was 90,000 miles (though I
later found out they released a new service bulletin reducing the interval
to 60,000 miles.
I sent Audi of America a letter, and the receipts for the repairs. A few
weeks later, I received a check for $410.53 (they covered all but towing)
from them.
I would like to acknowledge Herta Lindholm at AoA for her assistance.
