I did win the regional and took second at National Tour event. I lost
by .5 seconds, granted a long time, but: I was 3.5 seconds ahead of
third and would have taken 3rd place in G stock against much faster
Probe GT 6 cylinde cars. Andy Hollis, the winner in H Stock, was fast
enough to beat all 32 G STock cars and normally wins HS by over 3
seconds. I would say that being withing .5 seconds was a heck of an
accomplishment with a tired car that was only 15% prepped. Let me put
it this way, Hollis knew the poor state of preparation of my car and
was getting nervous about what I could do when I finished the work.

auto-X????

>>>He did'nt win at divisionals....... The MX-6 Will beat the 4000Q
it's
that simple. 1/2 second may not sound like a long time but it's
lightyears in a Auto-X. I've seen national titles won buy .002sec
cumulitive over 2 days. Now being in the same 1/10 that's something to
get excited over. Remember in most auto-x's 1/2 sec is 1% of total
time,
>>>>in racing that a lot.

I did win at Divisionals. Andy Hollis in the MX-6 that beat me at the
Nats. Tour has been autoxing for 18 years. If you look at te results
from the nationals, I consistently beat the 3rd and 4th place
finishers. I never raced against the 2nd place guy and we already
discussed the winner, Hollis.

If you think that a half second is a huge margin of victory, how would
you describe my average MOV of 3.5 seconds? I consistantly beat 3 or 4
classes that are faster than HS.

I am not trying to defend myself. I am just trying to put things in
perspective. I am proud of what I did this year and am looking forward
to the rest of this year and next season. I have already surpassed
almost everybody's expectations.... including my own.
