The 20V makes "all those horsepower" at high RPM
and is very peaky. The ol' 10V has a nice broad,
generous torque curve, so you have more tooorque
at usable RPM with the 10V. Since it's torque that
accelerates the car the 10V can hold its own pretty
well. Now add forced induction to the flow capabilities
of the 20V to overcome the lack of midrange and
you're really talking serious usable torque....
