A trick I used is to get some red glass paint at a craft store, dip the bulb 
and presto, you have a bulb which matches the stock Audi lighting. We have 
also used 'white-out' to paint the needle of a gauge. Did this one when we 
replaced the stock TQC boost gauge with the stock water temp gauge from a 
4000.
