Turbo torque launching

Yep, and actually, if you really want to nerd out, a properly "tuned" torque
converter can take the place of that little farting tin can on the exh
man.......  A torque converter, by definition is a wastegate, so those of you
with slushboxes and turbos, really have the advantage over us
sticklers.......  

Now, the method for the q's (at least mine) that gets the best time is not
beat by much by slipping the clutch at all (tenths, not seconds), rev to 5k,
drop clutch, tires chip once and the car leaps.....  And that's becuz, with a
IA stage II box, max torque is at about 3000-3300, which is exactly where a
dumped clutch 5ktq hits at lauch with a dumped clutch...   Cool, eh
