OK, I'm almost embarrased to ask this question, but...

It seems I'm having more trouble changing the air-filter on
my '84 4000s than I did the new water pump.  If you're familiar
with the setup, the whole fuel-injection deal sits right
on top of the air-filter housing.  I can't get it up (no jokes please)
far enough to get the old filter out.

I really don't want to start taking crap apart to get at it, am I
missing something, how do I do it.
