To be an usenet newsgroup would mean more exposure -- both in the
positive and negative way. Right now it seems it would probably get more
negative (e.g. postings not related to the group -- such as "Win95
rules/junk" or "Looking for a good time?").

To get this group more exposure without becoming an usenet group, may be
someone should asks the rec.auto FAQ maintainer to include the list site
for potential enthusiast. Either that, or do replies to any Audi-related
posts in the rec.auto.* and tell about the list to any potential
subscribers that will benefit from susbscribing the list. For example,
I've seen a post few days ago in rec.autos.tech that someone is looking
for repair manual on his Audi -- I'd say he would be a prime example that
would benefit from this list -- but from sound of it, he doesn't know the
existance of this list.

Origin of duct tape:
The tape got its name from some lazy contractors who threw
things back and forth when one or the other had need of it.
Thus they have the toss and the yell, "Duck, tape!" as it
flies through the air.
