Re: Turbo oil lines

I was just quoted $175 for the lower oil line from the turbo to the block
on a 1983 urQ. Does anyone know of a less expensive source or high quality
alternative part?

You might try calling around to a few hydraulics shops. I've had a
number of hoses made up for various things. The stuff is usually
industrial quality (e.g., Aeroquip, Goodyear, etc.), and reasonably
priced, typically around $30 to $50. The place I use makes them
while you wait. Unless there's something weird about the fittings
on the hose, you should have no problem matching them. Most of that
stuff is pretty well standardized across the industry.
