As several previous replies have noted, you have fixed the wastegate
control frequency valve. What this actually does is allow a minor
overboost (about 0.1 bar) under certain conditions, using the temperature
into the intercooler as a control. When the compressed air isn't too hot,
it allows 10-15 sec. of extra boost, for passing, or fun, or whatever.
However, in the case of cars modified for higher boost (and some of us know
how modified _yours_ is), it will never come into operation.
