Cuz, the restriction of the stock exhaust makes changing it a good poposition
for performance......  I would propose that since most of the Ur-q's are not
daily drivers on this list, that SS may be just more money, not necc. more
life......   If you get good galvanized "thick wall" tubing, it should last a
good long while, and in fact, the stock system on the 5ktq's are NOT SS, they
are Galvanized, my thinking is the same on the Ur-q, but someone who has
tried to weld it should be able to give the yea/nay......  The stock Ur-q exh
is 2 5/8, so to go to 2 1/2 should be pretty easy......  The most gains with
this set up are the restrictions in the 3 muffler system on the car........
 To get really big gains, the 3in exh is the cats meow, esp with the
biggr/faster/cfm turbos.....  Not just thinkin here....
