V8

Does any one know the production history of the V8 Quattro? How many were
made each year? How many were imported to the US? 
I have a '93. Sold a Lexus LS400 to get this V8. This Audi is by far the best
car I have ever driven. Had an '87 5000 TQ which was also wonderful but full
of minor and occasional major problems. Also in my background were 3 Mercedes
and 1 Volvo.
