When visiting my friendly nieghborhood wrecking yard, I tried to find a
drivers side front door handle. There were no door handles to be found on
any of the cars.
"Do you think it's an engineering flaw?"
I strolled over to the VW section and got one off of a VW quantum. You
will need to transfer a piece from your old handle to the new one, but it
works great.
