Audi Wins Second Straight ITCC!!!

To all,
Emanuele Pirro has won his second straight Italian Touring Car 
Championship for Audi Sport. It has been speculated that Pirro will 
be chosen to run next year in the British Touring series as well as 
running in the ITCC. Teammate Rinaldo Capello is second to Pirro in 
the standings. Pirro clinched his title at the Varano track on Sept 
17 taking second place in the first race behind teammate Capello and 
then reversing the order in the second heat. Audi still has one more 
title to worry about, the German Super Cup with drivers Frank Biela 
leading the standings, but teammate Hans Stuck is in shouting 
distance as well. later.
