OK, OK, you guys don't believe me...I tell ya, I have got a copy of an
advertisement from a 1986 car magazine (can't remember which one off hand
right now) and it says something like..."introducing the '86 Audi 5kcs
commemorative series sedan, with upgraded blah, blah, blah".  If anyone
would like a fax of it, let me know.

So, Bob, yes, I guess the S just means plain old, boring, no frills series :-)
