Subject: 02 sensor LED readout schematic
The following has bounced around several lists but never, to my knowledge,
been posted here. I have not yet built one myself (too busy!) and I can't
comment as to whether it works as claimed or not...

I just found a simple circuit for an A/F meter. It uses 1 IC, 10
LEDS and 2 resistors. Here it is:
___+12 Volts
Sensor ----|5 3|------|
| 10|--|<--| LED1
5K adj | 11|--|<--|
GND--/\/\--|6 12|--|<--|
| 13|--|<--|
680 | 14|--|<--|
GND--/\/\--|7 15|--|<--|
| 16|--|<--|
|--|8 17|--|<--|
|--|4 18|--|<--|
|--|2 1|--|<--| LED10
| LM3914
GND
Simply adjust the 5K pot so the reference voltage is 1V (at pin 6).
Connect 12Volts, GND and the Lambda sensor and you're ready to go. I
guess the component cost would be 5-10 dollars. I haven't built it
yet as I only saw the schematic today.
