Re: V8Q Technician in Seattle?
I cannot say specifically that this is the best place to bring a V8, but this
is one of the best German car repair facilities in Seattle. Herman's
International Auto Service at 6800 Roosevelt Wy NE, Seattle, 522-7766. I had
taken my car ('86 4kcsq) to Fat City for a while, but got tired of getting it
back with a new malady each time....extemely nice people there but
unfortunately didn't get the work done right (in fact one of their mistakes
ended up with their giving me a whole new cylinder head). Herman, on the
other hand, knows German cars and fixes them right the first time. He can
seem rather abrasive and stubborn when you first get to know him, but he once
you get to know him you realize he's a really nice guy and still stubborn.
Katy, his wife, who runs the office is extremely nice. You will pay for
diagnostic time, but often the price of the fix is included in that cost. I
paid more for his service but was extremely pleased with the outcome. While
in Seattle my car never ran better than when I was having it serviced with
Herman.
