good price for a '92 100CS

i'm looking to buy a '92 100CS real soon. i'm in the san franscisco
bay area. i thought i'ld get some opinions from this group on this
before i bought. i know it's a pain getting these mails if this
has been discussed alot already so i've spent quite a bit of time
going thru the archives. i haven't seen anything on this subject
yet. i've looked thru the edmunds web-site on this and they say
wholesale is about 18K and retail is 21K. this seems a bit high 
and i'm hoping to do better because many of these cars on the
lots are lease returns. i'm thinking the dealer has already 
made money on these cars so they can afford to take less. any
ideas or experiaces folks want to share about this would be
appreciated.
