Headlights

I recently sold a '87 4000CSQ with 178K on it.  I replaced it with a
'90 Coupe quattro.  Great cars, but they share the same problem: weak 
headlights.

Other then replacing the bulbs with the "off road only" 80/100W type,
does anyone know of a solution to this, such as Euro-spec headlights
which can be purchased in the US for a reasonable price?
