missing/stalling

Hello everyone,
I've had my 88 5000q since the end of August with absolutly no problems. 
However, now that the mornings are starting to get chilly, I'm noticing 
some missing and stalling as I go through the gears. When the car reaches 
normal operating temp. everything runs smooth as glass. Am I going to 
have to start 'er up and let it idle now? Temps aren't even close to 30 
degrees. Could it be fuel injectors?

On another note...
My wife had the front brakes on her '90 100 done about two weeks 
ago...and the brake peddle feels spongy with a lot of free play.I think 
the mechanics did a cheezy job of bleeding the brakes.The mechanics are 
hinting at a master cylinder. Any comments would be apreciated.
