Pentosin is hydraulic oil.  5000's live and breathe on the stuff, 4000's are
kinda screwey, some use Pentosin, others use ATF.

Nope, that's a sign of a badly needed brake fluid flush with DOT 4!

If the reservoir says to use ATF, use ATF.  Some 4000's use ATF, others use
Pentosin.  it may be a good idea to completely flush out your system and
re-fill it with ATF, someone may have dumped Pentosin in there if there was
some confusion.
