I have had an 87 Coupe GT for about 3 years now.(Had an 81 5000 before 
that) I have had very few problems with mine. At least not problems that 
I didn't cause. My Clutch pump went bad and the Suspension. My car has 
about 95,000 on it. THe suspension had never been looked at until I did 
it. The brakes have never been replaced... I guess they are still good I 
keep checking them. I do know that the previous owner drove it mostly on 
the highway. Now I had tons of problems with my 81 5000 but like I said 
none with this one.
