Sure..... I guess too, maybe one needs to drive the CC's then the MM's,
doubt a conscious mind would pick the MM's of the two..... I definitely come
from a BTDT, my wife;s car still has fairly new MM's on them...... So, back
to back (seat to seat) comparo is this:
BASELINE:
87 5ktqRS2 stage VIII, CC's frt plus drilled rotors, pagid blues rr plus SS
lines stock rotor
87 5dtqRS2 stage III, MM's frt/rr, stock rotors

* The MM's are LOTS quieter than the CC
* CC's have about 4 times the "fade life" of the MM's, drilled rotors aside
* Moderate driving, the MM's are OK
* Stomp the pedal on the CC's, hold your neck, MM's won't spill coffee...
* The CC's once broken in, grab like NOW
* The wife WANTS the CC's, she thinks her brakes are broken (comparatively
would be my guess)
* The CC's squeak ALL THE TIME, can only hear it in the car if your window
are down
* My last set of MM's did not last the one QC event, next one bought the
CC's
* 5 back to back chase laps at Brainerd, NO FADE
* There is really no comparison, you drive the CC car (forget that
exhaust:~) and the MM car, the performance of the CC's makes a second place
of MM seem like a distant one........
*  I'm sold.....  And I don't know what either costs, and I really don't
care...... (well..... ok.... a 2set discount - maybe)
