I too got the MT-90 recommendation from Redline and checked the owner's
manual which confirmed the MT-90. I have had the MT-90 in the transmis-
sion of my QTC for a couple of years now and share Bob K's experience.
The reason that I am cluttering the net with this message though is that
I actually used a different oil for the rear diff. I believe that the
Bentley calls for GL-5 in the rear diff. As I recall I used Redline
75W-140(?) GL-5 there.
There has been discussion in the past whether MTL or MT-90 is appropriate
in the tranny ... in the final analysis you will probably find that it
really doesn't make that much difference ... if you can get to the quattro
list archives on the web, you might want to look back a couple months ago.
