 I went and dug up the old German owners manual and looked up the 
spec. section.  Of course it's all in German so I had a difficult time 
with it.... but here is some info that I do not believe is in the FAQs

Acceleration
0-80 km/h	4.7 sec  (approx 50 mph)
0-100 km/h	7.1 sec  (approx 60 mph)
top speed 222 km/h 

Things that I know are different are:
cam
ECU Program
no smog stuff (pre U.S. landing)
 
I am not sure on the waste gate spring, mine has yellow paint.

body parts:
bumpers
head lights
dash (digital on my 84)
my wiring is closer to the 85 U.S. model
wiper wash system is larger (also supplies wash to head light when on)
rear fog light switch on left side of dash.

On board computer that tells you all kinds of things that are wrong with 
the car in a German vioce.

ABS was an option (not on my car)

I am sure there are many other things that I don't know about Euro spec cars.
So please let me know what you find out.
