Thanks for the 275 HP datapoint!
I too am concerned about distribution and realize that this could be a
problem. I've tried the Callaway system with an injector mounted in the
hose between the intercooler and the throttle body, worked OK, but the
additional fuel was NOT needed with the stock cam and 15-17 PSI boost. It
has been suggested by an Audi guru that the CS injector *might* provide
better distribution Vs an injector upstream from the throttlebody, as the
intake manifold was not designed as a "wet" manifold, but that the CS
injector and manifold are designed to work as a system with the specific
goal of CS injector placement and manifold-runner shape to provide as
even distribution from the CS injector as possible. Only real-time
testing will show what is best, or if additional fuel will even be needed
with the KuQEFH setup. Another possibility that I'd like to avoid would
be to add an injector to each intake manifold runner. I bought an Ur-q
intake manifold just for this purpose, but would hate to drill it up and
add so much extra complexity if it can be avoided without lean-out and
piston meltage' (new french technical term :). I plan to test the CS
injector mixture enrichment system first and see how that goes.....
