Will not offer an opinion because I have not spent enought time in either 
to provide decent judgement.  In fact, I was getting close to posting a 
similar request for info about used S4 vs V8.

My reason for this post is that about a week ago someone on the network 
announced that he was putting his '91 V8 5 speed up for sale.  Dont 
remember the exact price but it was in the low-mid 20s--not too far North 
of your desired price.  Perhaps of equal importance was thta he was 
located in the DC area.  I notice from your address that you are at U of 
Delaware.  Perhaps a match made at least on I-95 if not in heaven!
