Dan,
Just keep in mind, if you do eventually go with components, try to keep 
the tweeter and woofer as close together a possible, and on the same 
plane.  The farther apart they are, the more vague your front image will 
be.  Putting the tweeters in the dash will give you extended highs and 
good hf immaging, but the highs will sound separate from the mids coming 
from low in the door, not as one sound, as it should be.
