the a6/100 has always been one of the safest cars one could buy, but
unfortunately, not much was done to tell potential customers about it. 
give v*lv* credit for good marketing.

one of the great innovations found in audis and is still patented is the
procon ten seatbelt tensioners.  that is one of the secrets of the really
good crash test scores.  recall that even ovloV wanted to license it for
use in their cars but the deal fell apart.
