ignition lock problem

			It happened!  86 coupe GT

		I put my key in the ignition and it wouldn't turn.
		(yes I tried turning the wheel, etc., but....)

		Has anyone removed the lock mechanism before?
		I assume it is something which I can remove and 
		then get re-keyed.  Barking up the right tree?

		Thanks for any input at all on this situation.
