Audi's Cure for the Ignition wired/not wired radio

Audi appears to have solved the dilemma of how to wire the radio to please
those who want it to turn off with the ignition and those of us accustomed
to having it on with the key in our pockets.  In the A4, when you turn off
the car, the radio turns off.  BUT, if you push the on button, it will
work.  Sort of the best of both worlds.

(pardon me if this is not new and just new to me!!)
