Those Audi, bmw and mb numbers and stats were great!
What is missing, that would answer your questions, is the area under the
torque curve. Torque across the usable RPM band is what counts, peak
torque and peak HP mean nothing on the road, those peak stats are
marketing-hype and nothing more.
