Just replaced the two rings/doughnuts on my coupe q....

If you do have the same problem as Arun, consider this:

In order to prevent the rings from coming off the exhaust, just bend back the
metal hangers (on the exhaust), so that the rings cannot slip out. If the
rings are slipping from the hangers attatched to the body, then you might
have a problem, as they are not designed to be bent, but they may have come
loose somehow - you may want to reposition it, by welding, or weld a new part
on....
