Full-time headlamps stupid!

      OK, am I the only one here that thinks that driving around in the daytime
 with your headlamps on is stupid?  I don't think I'm the only one.  I guess
I'm not really against DRLs so much as not having the option of turning them of
f....I think that is stupid!  What if I don't want them on....tough luck, huh?
Another stupid safety feature imposed on us.  GM now uses them in all thier che
esy cars and all those cheesy people use them.

      Anyways, I agree with Bejamin Kerchowin (sorry if sp wrong).  If you want
 to have DRLs on our Audis, just push the headlight lever to the first click,
that engages the fog lights, and these do the same purpose as DRLs.  I have use
d this in the past, when  I am on the highway, and I want people to see me
before I get right behind them (b/c it usually takes them 5 minutes to make a
lane change and get out of my way).  But, I do no go around with my headlights
on all the time.....1st of all it's distracting to others on the road, and 2nd
it makes you look cheesey (IMHO).  Anyone care to comment?
