Wow!  You learn something new every day.  Either VW has some darned 
creative engineers, or they modified the bay to fit the inline.  From 
what I've seen of that bay, there ain't a whole heck of a lot of room.

Another question:  After you put that VR6 in there, can you swap the 4 
speed for a 5?
