I have one as described that I bought from Brookstone quite some years ago.
It's a helix of flat metal strip, welded to a central hex. It works like
gangbusters! Or at least it did on my then-new Z-28 into which a factory
bozo had installed a filter that had no seal. I expect he just kept
tightening until the leak went away. Strap wrenches would start to collapse
the filter housing before anything would move, and I didn't have the guts to
try the screwdriver-through-the-filter technique.

Not being familiar with the Ur-Q setup, I don't know how well it'll work for
you.
