V-6 performance upgrades

Here's one more person asking for advice on performance upgrades.
I'd like to get the low-mid range torque of my '93 90csq V6 increased.
I've been looking at chips, K&N filter + throttle body mod (as advertised
everywhere for $350), and true dual exhaust. I haven't been able to get any
hard numbers for the torque/bhp improvements for any of these mods except for
the chip ("up to" +22bhp, "up to"? - depending on what?). I'd appreciate any
information/experiences you all have.
Second thing, does any one with a V-6 90 (quattro or not) have the
three gauge package (oil temp/oil press/voltmeter) on the bottom of the
center console (like the I-5 coupes)? Mine doesn't, and I miss it from my '86
4kcsq. I've found the part from several different sources, including the
dealer, but am not convinced that it is for the V-6. I don't even know if it
matters which engine the car has. I'm still working on finding out if the
wiring harness for the gauges is in the car. If it's not, it's probably going
to be a lot of work to install the package. Again, thanks for whatever
info/exp provided.
